Clyde keeping cool.

Bridle helping zoya pack camp and things up this morning.

It's tough being a dark dog on a hot day in town! Bongo waiting to be cooled down!

Sport enjoying the trip with his pallies. This morning during our dog walks to the pond, Sport was all over in the water. Small fish were jumping and he thought he might want to head in after one ...after having walked with several dogs to the water hole, interesting enough all the dogs we raised are water-lovers getting right in, playing with no qualms and lapping it up. The dogs I've either bought or we've rescued are all non water lovers...shying away from it and a bit nervous to go near.
While we retrain and raise dogs, we show them everything we can (water, ice, good trails, bad trails etc) with total support. Their everyday life activities in some shape and form is training..training to be a better more confident dog. When we race, we'll certainly have water to deal with among other things. It shouldn't be a big deal.

while john feeds dogs, Zoya feeds the baby...good morning, were up and running!

*home sweet home* for a night, out of town in the Two Rivers area.

the best part about camping is being OUTDOORS! Falling asleep in nature, waking with nature, stretching out in the morning overlooking a river and having a fresh cup of coffee on a ridge. The sweet music of song birds, a light breeze against the tent and all the little details you miss when you're inside! zd
